that our coaches play a critical role in the personal and athletic
development of each gymnast. Our coaches are highly qualified
and have valuable Performance and also in some cases, Competitive
experience. Their combined knowledge of the sport is vast, creating
one of the best programs available. We are very proud of our coaches
and the level of training provided by them.

Ellen:
I started out as a gymnast with Alpha in 1994. Soon there after, along with being a gymnast I became a Junior Coach.
I have had a passion for coaching for many years now and after becoming a recreational coach, my passion grew. In that time, i took a year off to get married and start a new journey.
I lived in israel for a year and when i knew i was coming back, I knew i needed to come back to coaching. I was offered a position as a performing team coach. I am now part of a team that is preparing to go to Switzerland in July 2011, as well as expecting my first child.
I hope one day I can share the passion of rhythmics with my little one. |

Jill:
I was a gymnast with Alpha Rhythmic Gymnastics for 13 years. While I was a gymnast I travelled to 3 Canadian Gymnaestradas and 3 World Gymnaestradas. I have been able to travel all across Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, and Austria with the Club as a performing gymnasts. I have now been coaching for 8 years. Starting as a recreational coach, which I still do, and I am now also a performing team coach. As a coach I have travelled to Texas in 2009 and to Winnipeg for the 2010 Canadian Gymnaestrada. In 2011 I look forward to travelling to the World Gymnaestrada in Switzerland. I love coaching because I get to work with kids from the age of 3 up to 21. Every week brings on new challenges and rewarding improvements from my gymnasts. |

Monika:
The experience of dancing over the years, along with dedicated studies of anatomy, and kinesiology, has given me great insights of health and it's relationship with movement. There is a dance of intelligence communicating with 'sense'. Rhythmic gymnastics has the potential of being a supportive, innovative, and motivating experience for an individual interested with communication through movement. Dance is a platform on which an individual may begin to systematically unfold there blockages or limitations, and the influence on the nervous system can bring a sense of balance, release, and challenge. Logistically, stagnation leads to tension, destructive patterns, and chronic disease, and it is my within my potential to teach techniques of dance, with influence of yoga, to promote balance. I grew up with rythmic gymnastics as an outlet for excercise - it also taught me about grace, creativity, and leadership. My intention, as a coach, is to provide the gymnasts with a safe and inspiring experience as they learn to overcome. |
