Hello, on behalf of the Board of Directors, our coaching team, and myself, we would like to welcome you to a fun packed session of Alpha Rhythmic Gymnastics Club!

Whether this is your first year with Alpha or you are a returning member, I welcome you to the great sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics. Alpha Rhythmic Gymnastics Club is all about having fun, developing physical skills such as strength coordination, flexibility, balance and dexterity in a fun and affordable atmosphere!. Putting those skills together while working cooperatively in a team to create a great routine is a very rewarding activity for all involved. Most club members return year after year because of the friends they make, the coaches they enjoy, and the activity they love!

The club is in its 24th year of operation under the ALPHA Banner. The volunteer Board of Directors and coaching staff contribute many quality hours in promoting and providing first class skill development programs for rhythmic gymnastics in the city of Edmonton.

We are looking forward to many exciting opportunities for our performing groups. In July 2010, we travelled to Winnipeg for the National Gymnaestrada, hoping to secure a spot on the Canadian team. Members of Alpha's Performing teams succeeded with their goals and in July 2011 they joined the Canadian team which travelled to Lausanne, Switzerland for the World Gymnaestrada. This event hosted 20.000 gymnasts from 55 countries world wide.

At this time I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who make Alpha Rhythmic Gymnastics Club the success it is!! Our coaching team, board of directors and volunteers are to be commended on all of their efforts!!
